In addition to charging and discharging, the SM-X1 desktop charger has an LCD screen that provides information on the status of the battery. When charging or discharging a battery, the volts, amps and temperature of the battery can be read off.

The SM-X1 is very easy to operate using two buttons. It is no longer necessary to connect it to a computer and read it out using software that has to be installed beforehand. Maintaining and reading out the battery status has never been easier, cheaper or faster.

Incl. charging cradles for Motorola for GP360 radios. The discharge function and thus the capacity measurement of the battery is limited to Li-ion technology. Nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries can be charged.
